Easist Banana Bread Recipe Ever!
Hey hey everybody! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I have been in a roofing nightmare in this DIY home remodel for three weeks now and we finally got some progress accomplished this past weekend. Thank the good Lord! My garage was about to fall in on me and that wouldn’t have been good for anyone! In the midst of the roofing nightmare though, I did manage to find the time to get my never fail, super moist banana bread made just for your reading pleasure.
Not everyone can make banana bread. With this easy banana bread recipe, even my sister in laws can make super moist banana bread. I can do it either way, but this recipe had to be adapted just for them. Not everyone should be allowed in a kitchen…I’m just sayin’!

Why Does Banana Bread Get Dry?
Most homemade banana bread recipes call for brown sugar and butter or margarine. So if you overwork them, they get extremely dry. Some people don’t understand what overworking means, or even things like bringing your eggs and butter to room temperature can help avoid that issue too. So this banana bread recipe is truly fool proof. How? I am glad you asked, by using white sugar and vegetable oil. Yep, just that simple.
The second most important thing for the best banana bread recipe, is ripe bananas. Not overripe. If they are completely brown, or turning to liquid, throw them out. A prime banana for a great banana bread recipe is spotted and might have patches of brown. No further. And ladies…DO NOT TRY TO RIPEN YOUR BANANAS IN THE REFRIGERATOR OF FREEZER! It takes the ripening process too far and you have to start over anyway. Ok! So now that we have the crucial parts covered…let’s get to the good stuff!
Let’s Get To The Recipe Already!
Ok Ok! I get it. So first, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Next, go ahead and put the bananas, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil into your KitchenAid Stand Mixer or a mixing bowl. Do yourself a favor, and use a paddle attachment if you have one. It keeps you from overworking your dough.
Mix this until everything is mixed together well and the bananas are smashed up. Next, sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl. This will help you to add it gradually and keeps you from overworking it. Make sure to pack your flour when measured.
Now mix this on the lowest setting until everything is wet and STOP. Then if you are using nuts, fold them in by hand
Then divide your batter between 2 greased loaf pans and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
Now go serve it to your family!! Take a loaf to work!
